Cyral recommends deploying your sidecars in the same AWS region as your repository. While this is a general best practice, it is most important for web-based repositories such as Snowflake. If the sidecar is running in a different region than Snowflake, the rendering of the Snowflake console may experience some latency from the cross-region network trip. This cross-region latency is avoided by deploying the sidecar in the same AWS region as your Snowflake repository.
